March 19 Cypress Market Night

March 19 Cypress Market Night has been cancelled.
With the opening of a new restaurant in the shopping center, there were issues with parking last week. So this week has been cancelled to figure out the logistics that will make every one happy.
Please be patient with us as we are a new market! Convenience and the happiness of our patrons is our number one concern, so please know that we are working diligently to fix any glitches, and make Cypress Market Nights a fun and pleasant family shopping experience!
Our next projected Market date is Friday, March 26. Any updates will be posted here, and there are signs posted at the Market location at Hwy 290 and Skinner Road.

I am 2 months new to Houston and recently I found out about the Cypress Market nights and became very interested. Last Friday I made plans to go, but it was cancelled. And now it is apparently cancelled indefinitely. So sad. Please let me know if there is anything that I can do to reinstate Cypress Market Nights.

Hi Kiyana, and first of all welcome to Houston!
I’m sorry you were disappointed by last week’s cancellation. It looks like we will be canceled again for the next two weeks. There ARE plans for us to be open on April 9th. I hope you can make it out then!
The best thing to keep this Market going is 1: support from our community and 2: a better economy.
There isn’t much anyone can do to change the economy, BUT if everyone who wants this market to stay made their voice heard, we will have a fighting chance. There is a core group of vendors (myself included) that have really stuck by this. We have been dedicated to promoting our local businesses, but at the heart of it all is the determination to strengthen our community and provide support for organizations that need it the most. We may not be the biggest or the most beautiful, but we have heart!!
